West Hills Basement Remodel
After the January 2024 ice storm, we were contacted by a client who had just listed their home for sale and discovered a significant water leak. Upon inspection, we found over 25 burst pipes throughout the property, which had caused water to flow for two days. The drywall in the walls and ceilings had deteriorated and collapsed, necessitating a complete demolition throughout the home.
This extensive work included removing all floors, subflooring, insulation, and drywall, as well as a full repiping with upgraded PEX plumbing and any necessary electrical updates. During our assessment, we also identified and addressed additional structural issues and dry rot that would have otherwise gone unnoticed.
We replaced all subflooring, insulation, and drywall, and installed a new shower, tile, vanities, mirrors, and lighting—essentially transforming the home into a brand-new space. After our work was completed, the home was relisted on a Thursday and received a final accepted offer by the following Monday.
